Don't Focus on the Goal...

If you've followed this blog you know that I've struggled for many years with improving my health. I've finally reached a point where I've managed to maintain a small amount of success. Now it's time to take the next step, but I believe it requires a new way of thinking.

Instead of trying to get healthy, why not shift focus toward learning how to build healthy habits instead. Follow me as I try to teach myself how to Engineer healthy habits that will allow me to take my health to the next level. Let's see where this experiment goes!

Weigh-in #14 - 2/13/10

Starting Weight: 297 lbs

Last Weigh-in: 284 lbs

Current Weight: 283.8 lbs

Weekly Loss (Gain): 0.2 lbs

Total Weight Loss: 13.2 lbs

At this point I feel like I've been kicked in the teeth.  This one stings really bad.  I'll blog more about it tomorrow when I'm in a better mindset.  Good luck to all of you!

  2. Are you referring to only losing 0.2 pounds in a week? If so, yeah that's frustrating, especially when you are eating healthy and exercising well. When it happens with me, I usually start thinking "What's the point?" but it always seems like shortly after I'll start to drop a few pounds here and there.
