We BOTH have Harris Benedict posts. Ha...Oh my lord. We BOTH have Harris Benedict posts. Haha, BMR twins. I think this is a great post. You nailed it. Changing eating habits is just part of the equation, and by "habits" I don't mean starving.

I love food and I'm going to eat. I've learned that deprivation only leads to crazy bad binges later. I've learned to find foods (or cook them) in a way that makes me feel good about myself.

Keep up the great work and the great posts! Will check back often :)

I seriously laughed because I'm glad I'm not the only anal mathematical weight loser out there haha.

You should stop by and see what I'm eating on my weight loss journey (healthy yummy foods inspired by a loving adoration for food).

Have a good weekend!Jesshttp://www.halfofjess.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000745449077260160.post-59757051670266875362010-03-06T16:01:26.132-05:002010-03-06T16:01:26.132-05:00Thank you for adding me to your blog roll...I'...Thank you for adding me to your blog roll...I've added you on mine as well. I would like to work up to eating 6 times a day, but I find it so difficult. It's great that you can do that and it's great that you've got such a handle on things. I'm still tweaking my plan as I move along. lol Thanks for the great info. You stay strong too. :)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13717571306196215906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000745449077260160.post-79161589792364582872010-03-06T03:09:41.794-05:002010-03-06T03:09:41.794-05:00I really, REALLY, like this post. I agree with eve...I really, REALLY, like this post. I agree with everything you say. I've just started my journey for the gazillionth time and the times I have lost the MOST weight have been when I wasn't strictly counting calories. It was whole food based. My mental stuff and health problems prevented me from keeping it off, but I did get a better feel for how there has to be balance. Now, I am making my own diet...figuring out as I go. I'm concentrating on eating more whole foods and eating cleaner. However, soon I do need to sit down and figure out how many calories would be good for me and I'm also concerned about carbs. What is your food plan? Just curious. :)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13717571306196215906noreply@blogger.com
